One of the new features coming to Windows 10 with the Fall Creators Update is Story Remix. Back in May, Microsoft announced Story Remix for Windows 10 that lets you use photos and videos to tell your own story. The best part of Story Remix is the ability to put impressive 3D effects.

Story Remix should be a separate app, however, Microsoft is calling the feature as an evolution of the Photos app. Microsoft has released ‘Adds-on’ for Photos app that will bring other features (special effects) to the Story Remix.

Microsoft’s Chris Pratley has now confirmed that the special effects feature is coming soon to Story Remix (within the Photos). The special effects is apparently the best part of Story Remix and it will be soon released to Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring with skip ahead enabled. “Coming to Skip Ahead ‘real soon now,” he said.

Microsoft recently confirmed that Windows 10 will get the Fall Creators Update on October 17. Story Remix is also part of the major update and as the special effects is coming soon to the Skip Ahead Insiders, it will hopefully ship with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for general public.
