Microsoft’s partners have announced a lot of new Windows 10 devices at IFA 2017. CAT also announced a Windows 10 powered 8-inch tiny PC along with Android smartphones. CAT T20 is a new PC with 8-inch display and Windows 10 operating system. GPD Pocket is also a similar device but it has betters specs for the value.

CAT T20 is a rugged tablet and, is IP67 certified – we can put the device for 1m for 30 minutes in water and it would continue to work. The device is dust, water, vibration and drop proof (to 1.8m, with factory fitted screen protector). CAT T20 features IPS LCD 8” 800 x 1280 IPS LCD display. As it is a rugged tablet, it weighs 650g and is 14 (mm) thick.

It comes with 7500 mAh (non-removable) battery. The tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z8350 (Quad-core) processor with 1.44 GHz clock speed and runs Windows 10 Home edition. It has 64GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, the spec is not up to the mark as the device runs full Windows 10.

CAT T20 designed to operate in harsh environments and extremely low and high temperatures. As the tablet has an 8-inch display, the desktop software may not work well in a small display but the apps from the Windows Store should scale just fine. Priced at $777, the CAT T20 is coming later this year.
