GPD Pocket Mini is now available for purchase at GearBest. The GPD Pocket Mini is a 7-inch Windows 10 Touchscreen Pocket Laptop and you can get the device for $495 at the GearBest. The device ships between August 16 – August 21.

The GPD Pocket Mini comes with a 7-inch 1920×1200 IPS display. It features a all-in-one body made of magnesium and alloy. It is 18.5mm thick which makes the device look like a brick. The device is powered by Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor that provides maximum high-efficiency power to go. Furthermore, Intel Turbo Boost Technology delivers dynamic extra power when you need it

It features 8GB LPDDR3 RAM for Advanced Multitasking and 128GB of storage. It has a 7,000 mAh battery and it will offer upto 12 hours of battery backup. It will have all the usual ports like USB type C, full-sized USB port, HDMI port and Headphone jack. It does not have any touch-pad but it rather includes a QWERTY keyboard and Lenovo’s ThinkPad style pointing nub which will act as a mouse. Moreover, it comes with an aluminum chassis.

Earlier, the company had even compared the device with the Apple’s Macbook Air and Microsoft’s Surface 3. Although, it makes no sense as the Pocket PC is a completely different device.

This device seems interesting especially with Windows 10 inside. However, most desktop software does not work well in a small display but the Store Apps should scale just fine. This device is for those who want a small Windows 10 Laptop to carry everywhere in the Pocket. You can order the device by clicking here.
