Microsoft is letting Windows Insiders try the next major update for Windows 10 before the public release of Fall Creators Update. The skip ahead feature lets you download the builds from the Redstone 4 branch. However, last week Microsoft disabled the skip ahead option which blocked the access to inbox app updates and Redstone 4.

Today, Microsoft has once again enabled the ability to skip ahead to the next Windows 10 release aka Redstone 4. If you have the latest build of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update installed, you will be able to skip ahead.

Microsoft is expected to begin the roll out of Redstone 4 builds to Insiders in the coming weeks. Windows 10 Redstone 4 update is going to pack bunch of features and improvements over the Fall Creators Update.

The feature is however still not available on Windows 10 Mobile. As confirmed by Microsoft’s employee, the company have no plan to release Redstone 4 update for Windows 10 Mobile.
