Microsoft today released a new update for its OneNote app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The app has been bumped to new version 17.8366.57551.0. The update comes with new features which were already available for users on Insider program.

The Redmond Giant has pushed the same update for all users on Windows 10 PC and Mobile. With the latest update the company has brought new features to the public version. Users can now paste directly into OneNote from any app using the Send To OneNote function. Pages which have not been read will now show as unread and users also have been given the option to mark them as read.

Users on the Desktop can now launch multiple instances which will make it possible for them to display more notebooks at the same time. With the latest update users now have the option to open only their choice of notebooks from the clipboard.

Renaming a notebook has also been made available and users can now also add colors to different notebooks for easy recognition and importance. Details of a meeting can now be entered directly from the app along with taking down notes by using the custom pens which have now been made available in the latest version. Apart from the major new features there are the usual bug fixes and performance improvements to the application.
