Facebook has updated Instagram for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile today. This is a minor update with few features and more bug fixes and improvement. This update takes the version number to 10.889.54124.0 with collections and other UI improvements.

Facebook had released an update for Instagram about a month ago in which they introduced to a feature that allowed users to save the posts under their profile tab. Today’s update brings an improvement to SAVED posts by allowing users to create collections from these saved posts. To create collections go to saved posts in your profile and select the new Collections as shown below in the screenshot.

This update also allows you to view the history of a person that too directly to the home. To do that while you are viewing feed click on the image profile. It’s good to see Facebook releasing updates for Instagram Windows UWP app to keep them updated and on par with their iOS and Android counterparts.
