Last week we reported that Microsoft is introducing a Cortana Powered speaker from Harman Kardon. Today the company has announced its plans that lets developers integrate their services into Cortana by using a new developer tool called Cortana Skills Kit.

The company has made this Cortana Skills Kit available as a public preview today at its Build 2017 developer conference. Using the Cortana Skills Kit and Microsoft’s Bot Framework developers can integrate their services into Cortana.

The Cortana Skills Kit will work across all devices which includes Windows 10 devices, Android, iOS and Cortana powered speakers. Users will be able to install the Kit from the Cortana app on their devices and will be able to start using the features once it is enabled.

The Cortana Skills Kit isn’t available just yet for download and we will be letting you know once the Skills Kit is available for download. Till then make sure to watch this space for more.
