Microsoft has also released a new patch for Windows 10 April 2018 Update device and it comes with minor fixes. The direct download links for Windows 10 KB4462919 are also available.

Windows 10 KB4462919 comes with security fixes only and installing this patch will bring your PC to Build 17134.345. The changelog is small and there aren’t too many fixes included in October patch but another cumulative update with improvements is expected to arrive later this month.

Windows 10 is today getting new cumulative updates for all versions on the market and Microsoft has also fixed the bug in Windows 10 October 2018 Update that caused the removal of certain contents. Windows 10 version 1803 also known as April 2018 Update is getting a new patch today and after installing the patch, you’ll notice that it bumps the OS build number to 17134.345. The patch as always is rolling out via Windows Update and you can download them manually from below links.

Build 17134.345 for Windows 10 April 2018 Update comes with security fixes for Internet Explorer, Microsft Edge browser, Windows Shell, Windows Kernel, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Peripherals, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft JET Database Engine, and Windows Linux.

Microsoft is not aware of any issues in this release and we haven’t come across any reports of failed installs yet. The update deployed correctly on our system but we’ll continue to monitor the forums and update this article with more details if and when available.

If you’re planning to install this patch manually, make sure your PC is on Windows 10 version 1803 and you can check the system version from Settings -> System -> About. Keep in mind that version 1803 represents Windows 10 April 2018 Update and version 1809 is for Windows 10 October 2018 Update.

Looking for new features? Wait for October update

Windows 10 April 2018 Update is no longer the latest version of Microsoft’s desktop OS as the company recently announced Windows 10 version 1809. The October update was pulled due to the deletion bug that reportedly removed the files stored in the documents folder.

In the latest blog post, Microsoft confirmed that they have addressed all issues in Windows 10 October 2018 Update and it will be re-released to the consumers later this month.

Microsoft also revealed that they have implemented a new change in the feedback system that would help them trace and address the critical issues before public rollout.
