Windows 10 KB4075200 and KB4075199 are now available for download. The two new cumulative updates are rolling out to the Windows 10 version 1511 and version 1507 of the operating system. Windows 10 BuildĀ 10586.1358 (KB4075200) and Build 10240.17741 (KB4075199) fixes a critical bug that was resulting in the unbootable state on some AMD powered PCs.

Microsoft is finally updating the older versions of the operating systems with improvements since they were not released on Patch Tuesday. The focus of this update is on general improvements and fixes, it’s worth noting that software giant is finally addressing BSOD errors on AMD PCs.

Windows 10 BuildĀ 10586.1358 addresses an issue with AMD devices thatĀ get into an unbootable state after patching Meltdown and Spectre. Another issue where a part of the system does not log off correctly has been fixed.

Windows 10 Build 10240.17741, on the other hand only containsĀ the fix for PCs with AMD processors that failed to install the security updates.

Earlier this month, Microsoft pushed emergency Windows updates with Meltdown and Spectre fixes which were causing Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors. We recommend everyone with AMD PCs to upgrade their systems to the latest cumulative update as it contains aĀ fix for AMD computers that were pushed into an unbootable state.
