When Samsung had launched their latest flagship phone Galaxy S8 and S8+ earlier this year, they had also announced their new assistant named “Bixby”. Samsung has today announced that they have teamed up with LinkedIn to bring the LinkedIn’s content and calendar experience to the Bixby assistant.
Samsung considers this new integration will help users to stay informed and more prepared in their professional life. You will be able to see the new LinkedIn experience in Bixby by just swiping to left from the home page.
Here’re the features that Bixby would bring for S8 and S8+ users with this integration:
- “My Schedule” notifications will be popped up by Bixby whenever you will be preparing for your meet up.
- There is a section for “LinkedIn: People You Met” that would keep information about recent appointments.
- Trending Storylines on LinkedIn will be available on Bixby home.
To enable the new LinkedIn experience on Bixby you will be required to download the official LinkedIn app on your phone. You can download Microsoft’s official LinkedIn app from Play Store here.
