Microsoft has today pushed a new update to Windows 10 PCs and Tablets running on Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Microsoft has released the update patch which updates the Windows 10 AU to Build 14393.1532 on PCs and Tablets. You can see the full changelog here. Here are the key changes:
Microsoft has fixed the issue of faulty silicon in Solid-State Drives impacting the overall performance of the Standard NVM Express Driver of Microsoft. There was a weird issue earlier that when you change your connection from wired to a wireless the file (.ppt, .xls, etc.) that is being edited gets marked as “Read-Only”. This issue is now fixed by Microsoft. Another issue that is fixed with this update is when multiple users were logged in the touch screen and fingerprint swiping used to stop working earlier.
These updates generally has various quality improvements and bug fixes. These updates don’t contain any new features as they are only introduced with the main release of the versions of Windows 10. To download it go settings app and select update and security and select Windows Update and check for updates. Windows update will then automatically install it on your device.
You can also download these update using the update catalog by downloading it offline and then install the MSU file manually. We will soon post these update catalog msu files for 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows devices.
