ownCloud developers have released a new UWP app for Windows 10 devices which is available for download on all Platforms including HoloLens, Windows 10 PC and Mobiles. ownCloud which is a self hosted file sync and share server provides access to data through web interface.
ownCloud has a simple API for applications and plugins and works with any storage. ownCloud works on all Windows 10 devices and users can synchronize files with background task. For users on Mobile devices the app sync data only when the device is being charged which helps in basically saving the battery consumption.
Users will be able to manage files and folders and also have the option to upload and download files. You can also view images or Stream videos directly from ownCloud. The app is currently available for download in the Windows Store.
