Samsung launched its Galaxy S8 this Spring with one of Windows 10 Mobile’s poached feature – Continuum. The Galaxy S8 has been shipped with an optional accessory, DeX Dock to provide a Linux like desktop operating System with complete support for Android apps and advanced desktop multitasking features.

The Samsung’s DeX Dock works with the Windows 10 powered Lumia 950 being able to make use of this dock to launch itself into Continuum. Below is a video of the Samsung DeX Dock working with older Lumia.

Microsoft and Samsung have been partners in the mobile space for sometime now and Samsung was Microsoft’s earliest Windows Mobile OEMs. Both the devices make use of a similar technology to access the pseudo desktop environment.
