Microsoft has confirmed that the Windows 10 Creators Update will be released to Windows 10 Mobile Devices after the desktop release. Microsoft is expected to roll out the Windows 10 Creators Update to the Desktops in April. As usual, the update would be only available to the desktop devices at the time of release.
Microsoft confirmed the news to Softpedia and the company provided them a short statement, “The initial update will be for desktop, but other versions will be available thereafter.”
Windows Phone fans must be disappointed. However, it is not a new thing as Microsoft has always delayed the updates for Windows 10 Mobile Devices. The company might release the update to mobiles after a few weeks of it’s desktop release. The Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile will mainly focus on improvements. There are no new “exciting” features that will make you go crazy. Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update will bring Continuum Improvements, UI tweaks and bug fixes.
Microsoft has recently confirmed that the company will continue to release preview builds to Mobiles after the release of Creators Update. We can expect new features with Windows 10 Redstone 3 update which will be released later this year and it is the second major update for the operating system.
