Last Week Microsoft had released a new Build 14951 for Fast Ring Insiders Redstone 2. Lot of users complained of having trouble in installing the Mobile Build.The company had released workarounds for the installation which eventually went thru for users to install the previous build.

The company yesterday released another new Insider Preview Build for Both PC and Mobile 14955 RS2 for Fast Ring. If you are facing issues in installing the Preview Build on your Mobile, below is the workaround for installing the latest build 14955.

Microsoft’s Jason Howard posted the following to the Answers forum:

  1. Switch your device to the Slow ring
  2. Change device date to 7 days in the future
  3. Check for updates (should say “no updates available”)
  4. Change device date back to current date
  5. Change device back to Fast ring
  6. Check for updates

Frankly speaking the above workaround is simple than the workaround users had to face last week to install the previous build.
