Movies and TV app

Microsoft is today updating Movies & TV app for Windows 10 devices with two new features – Timeline and Movies Anywhere. The same update was previously tested with the Windows Insiders and today you can download it on the non-Insider machine.

We are getting the updated version of Movies & TV app on Windows 10 April 2018 Update devices in the production ring. You can find the official changelog below:

  • Movies Anywhere: Add your purchase on your Movies Anywhere collection and watch on supported devices.
  • Timeline: Your Movies & TV viewing history is now available on your Windows Timeline.

    But only in the US of course… and they wonder why they are losing market share.

      Microsoft doesn’t control Movies anywhere (Disney does).

          Some users in the UK have been able to link their Microsoft account on Movies anywhere, Website and get access.
