Mobile Connect works on similar lines to Microsoft’s Continuum and lets users to send and receive texts from PC along with making or receiving calls. With the Mobile Connect users will be able to connect their device Android or iOS to their PC via Bluetooth.

Microsoft had earlier launched this feature calling it as “Continuum” with its latest Operating System Windows 10 which helps users to send and receive calls and texts from their PC also.

Mobile Connect, Dell says will be pre installed on all its new XPS, Inspiron and other devices which would be launching soon. However for the Mobile Connect to work on their PCs users would need to have minimum of 1GHz Intel Celeron or above, 2GB of RAM, HD Graphics with installed Windows 10 version 1607 or later.

For users to make this technology work on Mobile they would need to be using an Android Smartphone with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and iOS users would need to be on iOS 10 or later to use the functionality with their PCs.
