WhatsApp team has been working very hard on its application which is used by more than a Billion users around the world. The team has now officially made its Desktop app available for download from the Microsoft Store for all users but is accessible only for users who have signed in as Beta testers for the application.

After downloading the application on your Windows 10, only people who have been selected for Beta Testing will be able to access the account.

Users will be prompted to access the account using their Facebook credentials. You will be able to successfully log in only if you are on the List of Selected Beta Testers, other users will receive the “403: Forbidden” error.

The WhatsApp team has removed the option of log in via the QR code meaning authorized users will have to log in to the account via their Facebook only. The latest test version has been updated to 0.2.6943.

The app is officially available for download in the Microsoft Store and you can get it by clicking the below link. As reported if you are unable to log in to the account, then you are not authorized to test the application for Windows 10, and would need to wait for the application to be made available publicly.
