Microsoft is now planning to launch a retail store in London and it would be the company’s first UK-based retail store. According to a new report from RetailWeek, the store will be located at Oxford Circus.

For those who don’t know, Oxford Circus is a popular place in London and it is indeed a good place to expand its consumer retail stores. The Oxford Circus will be a notable presence of Microsoft Store outside of the United States.

As per the reports from RetailWeek, Microsoft is looking to establish a store in locale shopping area, currently occupied by United Colours of Benetton. The company will sign a 10-year lease on the building in the popular shopping locale, Oxford Circus. However, the store opening isn’t far from guaranteed but the chances are that the software giant will be able to secure the area.

This isn’t the first time Microsoft has been looking to launch the retail stores in the United Kingdom but the company has been escalating its efforts. Microsoft has stores in the United States, Canada, Austrailia, Puerto Rico and it was in the Brazil too but they have recently closed it. Microsoft Retail Stores have new devices such as the Surface Pro, Surface Book and Surface Laptop.
