As Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is coming next month, Microsoft is updating the stock apps with some new features and improvements. Today, Microsoft is updating the Windows Store on Windows 10 Mobile, PCs and Tablets. The latest update has been released for the non-Insiders.

Microsoft hasn’t introduced any new features with today’s update but it appears that the company has once again added the new Fluent Design elements. The top title bar has got the Fluent Design touch and it is visible on both Mobile and PC. Here’s how the Fluent Design looks on the Windows Store.

The updated version 11708.1001.21.0 of Windows Store also brings a change to the interface, the thumbnails now looks like a card in different sizes on the app’s category pages. All the changes are visible on both Windows 10 Mobile and PC.

The good part is that Windows Store performance on the low-end device hasn’t degraded even though Microsoft has added the Fluent Design elements. Last time when Microsoft updated the People app with Fluent design, it became unusable on low-end mobile devices. It seems Microsoft has finally found the fix as Windows Store is working as good as it used to without Fluent design.
