When Microsoft had announced the Creators Update alongside the new paint app “Paint 3D” they also created an entire community site called Remix 3D. It is 3D sharing community for Paint 3D users who can easily use or share their content with other users. The best part was that it allowed users to publish their 3D creation to community right from the Paint 3D app.

Microsoft has recently updated the Remix 3D website and now you will also be able to use each part of the 3D content individually. Now there are two options under any Remix 3D content one that was already present was “remixes” while a new option named “parts” is now available. It will show all the components that are used in the 3D content and also can be downloaded separately for using them offline.

Microsoft has many times reiterated in the past that they consider Mixed Reality the future of the computing and are currently working with PC OEMs to bring cheaper Mixed Reality for users by this year’s end. Remix 3D content will prove to be useful for their Mixed Reality ambitions. The 3D content of the Remix 3D can be placed in the Mixed reality world easily through this service.
