Microsoft has released a new tool that lets you install Windows 10 S on any PC for no additional cost. The tool is basically an installer and you can only install Windows 10 S if your PC has Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise or any other versions installed except Windows 10 Home.
Microsoft claims Windows 10 S to be a highly secure version of Windows 10. As Microsoft has blocked the installation of Win32 apps, Windows 10 S is superior in terms of performance. Windows 10 S deeply integrates with OneDrive so you will never have to worry about the storage on your PC.
The apps can be only installed via the Windows Store ensuring the best security. Microsoft Edge comes pre-installed with Windows 10 S and you cannot install Chrome or Firefox but some alternatives are available.

- Visit Microsoft’s download page.
- Click on Download Installer and open the tool.
- The tool will download Windows 10 S and also install on your PC.
Windows 10 S is almost same as the Pro version. It comes with Windows Defender, Start Screen, Windows Store and all ongoing security features of Windows 10 are included.
