Microsoft is expected to release the next major update, Windows 10 Fall Creators Update in the month of September for users in Slow and Release Preview Ring and a public release of the update is expected in October for all users.

With just couple of months to go before the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Microsoft will now be concentrating more on squashing bugs and improve the performance of the OS before the official roll out and will not be adding any new features in the coming Insider Builds for Fast Ring Insiders.

However, users can still expect to see some minor new features released in the coming New Insider Preview builds but nothing major. The next Windows 10 release could be termed as a minor OS update since the company will not be releasing any major features like Timeline and Cloud Clipboard with the Fall Creators Update which were originally announced.

There are however lots of other improvements to look forward to like OneDrive Placeholders, Story Remix, My People, Fluent Design to name a few. Users can get the complete list of features included in the Fall Creators Update by clicking this link.

It is still possible that Microsoft might release some minor new features with the last leg of builds along with fixing the bugs and improving the OS before the public release.
