Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
New windows 10 fall creators update 2017

Microsoft had recently released Windows 10 Build 16215 to windows insiders in fast ring that brings a number of new features like a new Fluent Design enabled Start Menu and Action Center, Edge full screen and one handed swipe keyboard etc. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will have lots of new features and with new fluent design language. One of the upcoming feature that is currently under development is multi-step interactive notifications.

Multi-step interactive notifications will allow interactive toast notifications that will have multiple steps of interactivity. For example, the initial notification will allow you to interact with it and upon clicking on interaction button system will trigger a background task which will leave the toast in a pending state and will update when the app updates the toast with the next step. This can be very useful for quiz apps which asks questions in the toast and would then be able to reply with another interactive toast for correct answer after the user had answered the question.

Multi-step interactive notifications for Windows 10 are currently in development as you can see from the screenshot from the official website. Windows Insiders would soon be able to try it out in the upcoming builds.
