Yesterday, Microsoft has started allowing the Windows Store apps or game developers to create Native Ad slots using the latest version of Microsoft Advertising SDK (10.0.4). This means that from now on developers will be able to create ads on their apps with the freedom of selecting any section of area for placing Ads inside app.

Those who don’t know what Native Ads are, It is a component-based ad format that allows the app publishers to place the individual components of a creative – title, image, logo, description, call to action text – which would be in alignment with rest of the app.Developers can use fonts, colors and animations as per their app so as to keep uniform user experience across their app while at the same time allowing them to earn high yield from advertising.

Those who advertises also gets more interaction from users using the app that have better ads tightly built into the app with Native Ad Slots. Microsoft also mentioned that according to a report by Mobile Marketing, the ads with native Ad slots on an average see five times greater engagement than traditional banner ads.
