Inkscape and Krita are the two popular open source apps which provide easy access for Windows 10 users. These two open source apps are now available for download in the Windows Store.

Inkscape is available for free of charge for download whereas the Krita team is levying a charge of $9.75 for downloading the software. However the team has confirmed that the software will be free to download via the website.

The Krita team does not have any difference in function when it is either downloaded via the website or via the Windows Store since they share the same binaries but are packaged differently hence the charge is levied when its downloaded via the Store.
