MEGA is one of the few companies which is continuing to support the Windows platform and in November 2016, the company promised a UWP app of their cloud storage service which offers 50 GB of free cloud storage for the users.
MEGA offers more free cloud storage space to Windows users than what others offer. The UWP app has been in beta for some time now and fortunately, today finally the UWP app is out of beta and is available for everyone to download from Microsoft Store.
Users can now upload their files from smartphone or tablet and then search store, download, stream, view, share, rename or delete files anytime, from any device, anywhere. You can also Share folders with your contacts and see their updates in real time.
The data which is stored in MEGA’s server is encrypted and also decrypted by your client devices. Some of the main highlights of the app include the ability for users to view and zoom the gallery of images.
For PRO users, the app enables a which for users which allows you to view the expiration of a link and the pro version has may such feature. You can also subscribe to PRO plans which offer up to 8TB of storage with 16 TB of transfer allowance.
