dotPDN LLC, pushed out a new update for its Paint app for Windows 10 PC users. The update brings some minor new features to the Windows 10 application. The app has been bumped to new version 4.0.20.0. The update brings new Dark Theme along with many new features for the application.

Paint.net now gains support for Dark Theme with the latest update. Users will now be able to change the Theme options which now includes the new Dark Mode. The app now also supports high DPI which was not available earlier for the application.

Users will also be able to preview thumbnails in File Explorer. The new preview of thumbnails now gains support for TGA and DDS files with the latest update. After taking the update the application requires support for .NET Framework 4.7 for it to run on the PC.

If the PC does not support or does not have the latest .NET framework then the same will be installed automatically during the update process of paint.net application. The team has also made sure to push out several bug fixes and improve the performance of the application with the latest update.
