Microsoft’s Surface Go hardware specs and cost are in line with the competitor’s solution including Apple’s iPad. The Surface Go is the most affordable tablet from Microsoft and it is supposed to offer a more budget-friendly alternative to customers looking for premium build quality Surface model.

In Western countries, the 2-in-1 Surface Go is specifically aimed at the education market but in India, it would target a wide range of audience interested in a device like iPad with better productivity-focused features which only Windows 10 can offer.

The Surface Go is by no means supposed to be a productivity workhorse but it’s a great device to watch movies, perform general tasks like web browsing, programming, creativity, editing documents and playing average games such as Asphalt. It pretty much does everything you can expect a 2-in-1 Windows 10 device to do.

Surface Go uses Intel 4415Y processor and features either 4GB or 8GB RAM, depending on the configuration that you order from Flipkart.

Microsoft’s affordable Windows 10 device can run for up to 9 hours per charge but the battery life can vary depending on what you do with the device. The device comes with Windows 10 in S Mode and you won’t be able to run the apps available outside the Microsoft Store unless you don’t upgrade to Pro or Home license.

Windows 10 in S Mode improves the performance of the Surface Go and there are plenty of apps available in the Microsoft Store to meet your daily tasks.

Surface Go features rounded corners and a 10-inch PixelSense display with 1800×1200 (217 PPI) resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio.
