Microsoft Bing

If you’re a Microsoft user who relies on Bing for finding information online, here’s something that could really come in handy.  The software company this week began testing a new feature with Bing users that would allow them to open links in a new tab by clicking on an icon.

The new search results interface features an icon that appears next to the meta title of the web pages. You would need to click on the icon to open web pages in a new tab. When you’ll hover over the icon, a text “Click here to open in a new tab” will be displayed on your screen.

Bing feature

Windows Latest understands that Microsoft is A/B testing this feature with a select group of users and it will be rolled out to the general public soon.

Bing settings

It’s worth noting Bing has search setting that lets you operate this feature by default. You would need to access settings on Bing and look for the option “Open links from search results in a new tab or window” under results section.
