Microsoft last year launched the SMS Organizer app for Android in the Indian market to fight SMS spam. Created by Microsoft Garage team, the SMS Organizer is aimed at the Indian market, and yesterday the company announced that the app will show CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 results in India, even without internet connectivity.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is managed by Union Government of India, and it controls the education system at the national level in the country. After Google, Microsoft has also partnered with CBSE to show the results of Class 12 and Class 10 in its SMS Organizer app.

Microsoft’s SMS Organizer app will be able to show CBSE Class 12 results across India tomorrow.

Microsoft has also started taking pre-registrations for CBSE results feature, and here’s how you can check Class 12 results, even without internet connectivity:

  • First and foremost, search and download the “Microsoft SMS Organizer” app from the Google Play Store.
  • The CBSE registration notification would appear, and it will ask you to fill the necessary details.
  • Once you have signed up for this service, the app would send a scorecard via a text message when results are declared.

The so-called SMS Organizer app created by Microsoft Garage also blocks promotional messages and allows the important messages to get through.

The SMS Organizer app could be the perfect replacement for the built-in messages app, and it comes with a feature that can move incoming messages to categories like important and promotional. The app is basically supposed to organize your messages and is powered by Microsoft’s machine learning systems that can analyze messages.

The app could also show reminders for unpaid electricity, phone, movie ticket and travel expenses. Microsoft says that most of the features in SMS Organizer works without internet connection.

The SMS Organizer is fully integrated with Android and it can show cards-based notifications as well. The other features include support to mark a message as favourite, promotional and spam. As noted above, the app uses Microsoft’s AI technology and algorithm could learn about new spam or promotional messages from your actions.
