While Microsoft is no longer to be interested in building Windows 10 Mobile hardware, the company is still selling third-party Windows Phones on its online store. HP was one of the Microsoft’s partners that were betting big on Windows Phone and could have helped the platform if the software giant was interested.

In a highly competitive market dominated by Android and iOS, HP launched the Elite x3 with Windows 10 Mobile operating system and it is still the most powerful Windows phone ever launched by any tech giant.

Microsoft Store is today selling the HP Elite x3 for just $299, the company has discounted the price of the Windows Phone by whopping $500. The Elite x3 not only comes with an exquisite look but also with hardware that puts it in line with the phones launched last year.

It’s very clear that the HP Elite x3 is one the best Windows Phones on the market right now. The phone has a 5.96-inch super AMOLED display and Gorilla Glass 4, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It has a 16-megapixel camera and basically, everything on the paper sounds fantastic.

The Elite x3 feel nice to the touch and has a very premium look. The phone might feel a little too big if you have used the Lumia 950 or 5-inch phones. The display offers vivid colours and balanced contrast, which is brilliant to say the least. There is absolutely no doubt that this is the best Windows phone ever released but the saddest part is Microsoft has discontinued Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
