WhatsApp team is working on launching Stickers and Live Location to the users of Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The Windows Phone WhatsApp Beta app has been updated with version 2.18.24.

The team has released new Stickers feature for Windows Phone users last week in the latest version 2.18.24. The feature is currently hidden and should be enabled remotely in the coming days and weeks. If any of our friends or family members send you a sticker in WhatsApp you will be able to see a heart shaped icon in the notifications resembling that a sticker has been sent to you in the chat.

Another feature which is currently hidden is the “Live Location” feature which is most awaited by the Windows Phone users. The Live Location feature is already available for iOS and Android users for a year now, and is possible that the feature will be enabled for Windows Phone users very soon.

“Live Location” feature lets you share your current location in real time with your friends and family and this helps users to know your exact location in case of any emergencies. As reported this feature is currently hidden and should be enabled very soon to all Windows Phone users.

The WhatsApp team is also working on introducing new stickers section for Windows Phone users which is already available for Beta users but not yet enabled. We expect the WhatsApp team to enable the hidden features for all beta testers very soon for beta testing before making it live for all users.

The latest WhatsApp Beta update is already available in the Microsoft Store and you can get it by clicking this link.
