Microsoft couple of days ago pushed out a new update for its Windows Analytics service for Windows 10 users. The Analytics service lets users to check if the antivirus installed on their PCs is compatible and valid apart from also allowing users to check the Windows Update Status and Device Firmware version.
The service is basically helpful for IT admins who take care of large number of networks and PCs allowing them to easily handle any upcoming issues due to the notifications provided by the Analytics service to secure the PCs.
The Windows Analytics Service is having a clear UI which gives full details of the antivirus status along with providing users with details of the Security updates that are installed on their PCs making it easy for IT admins to fix any issues effecting the computers.
As reported, the IT Admins also will be able to find out the firmware version which is installed on the device and helps them to make sure to update the device with the required firmware to make the PC free from any risk of getting effected by virus or malware.
Microsoft has already released a Windows Update to fix the Meltdown and Spectre issues and is working on releasing some more new updates which could also include Intel microcode improvements.
