Microsoft yesterday pushed out a new Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17093 for Fast Ring and Skip Ahead Insiders with many new features, improvements and known issues. The company today is pushing out a new update for its Windows 10 Messaging app which introduces the Fluent Design elements.
Microsoft with its previous update had removed the Fluent Design elements which the company introduced after the release of last Insider Preview Build 17083. The Fluent Design elements introduced earlier were only available for a small section of the application.
But today the company is bringing back the Fluent Design elements to all sections of the Messaging application for Windows 10 Fast Ring Insiders. The update has pushed the app to new version 3.37.28001.0.
Apart from the re introduction of the Fluent Design elements, Microsoft has also pushed out the general set of bug fixes and performance improvements to the Messaging application. We expect Microsoft to add more features to the messaging application in the coming days or weeks since the changes could be related to Always Connected PCs with Windows 10 ARM and the much rumored Surface Phone.
We however need to wait and see if the company continues to update the Messaging app since it had stopped updating the application after the removal of Skype Integration some time ago. As reported above the latest Messaging App update is currently available only for Insiders in the Fast Ring and should be pushed out to all users in the coming days.
