Microsoft has been pushing very hard to make sure that its Digital Assistant Cortana is available for all users irrespective of the platform. The Digital Assistant was already available for iOS (iPhone) and Android users along with Windows 10 users.

Today the company has made available its Digital Assistant to iPad users also. Cortana is available for download in the App Store for iPad users with version 2.6.8 which brings a new layout and interface specifically optimized for iPad users.

The app now launches 20% faster than earlier, the improvement which was already made available to iPhone users. With Cortana, Microsoft has made it easier to receive notifications set on your phone on any other device like Xbox One, Windows 10 PC or iPad.

Microsoft has been constantly working on improving the user experience for Cortana users and with the availability of Cortana for iPad, the company can expect the user base to go higher.

The Digital Assistant is available for download in the App Store but you will not be able to install it automatically on your iPad if you are already using Cortana on your iPhone. Cortana will be automatically updated if the iPhone app is installed on your iPad.

If any of our users are using an iPad and would like to install Cortana then they can do so by clicking this App Store link. Remember as reported above the Digital Assistant will be updated for iPad if you are already using Cortana on your iPhone.
