Microsoft has confirmed that it will be releasing a major update for its Office 365 Productivity Suite for iPhone and iPad users. The major update for Office 365 subscribers would include support for drag and drop which would make it easier for users to move files to and from OneDrive and other sources across iOS.

Microsoft just recently released a major update for its OneDrive app for iOS users with drag and drop support along with providing support for the Files app in iOS 11. iPhone and iPad users with the new update will be able to upload, access, edit and save content to OneDrive from any iOS app supporting File app integration.

Another new feature which will be made available for iOS users is the Co authoring feature which makes it easy for individuals to work across devices at the same time. With the new feature users will be able to check out who else is working on the same document simultaneously.

AutoSave option is another new feature which will be introduced in the major iOS Office Update which lets users to save the latest changes automatically in the cloud which help users in viewing and restoring content from earlier versions of the documents any time.

“Together with proactive search suggestions and a unified design, it now provides consistent, personalized results that enable you to discover information from across your organization faster,” Microsoft says.
