Google has released a new update for its Chrome browser for Windows 10 users. The update pushes the browser to new versionĀ 64.0.3282.119. The update is available to the stable channel on Windows platform.

The latest update comes with fixes for the recent Meltdown and Spectre attacks which effected lots of PCs over last couple of weeks. The latest update has been in testing phase by the company for more than a month and is now the first browser which has been released with inbuilt fixes for the Meltdown and Spectre attacks.

Due to the recent attacks to the web browser Google has made sure to include a strong pop up blocker which is capable of preventing any type of attacks to its web browser. Users usually click on third party links which could be harmful to your system as they could contain malicious viruses.

To make sure and protect the users from facing any such unfortunate attacks by clicking on third party links, Google has made sure to include a very strong pop up blocker in the latest update, Chrome 64 which is available for download on Windows platforms.

The latest Chrome 64 update is being rolled out currently OTA (Over The Air) and you can get it by going to Settings>About Chrome and install the new version from there.
