Chrome

Google has updated its Chrome browser today for Windows 10 users. The latest update brings High Dynamic Range support for Chrome users on Windows 10.

The HDR video support comes with new vibrant colors, darker blacks and whites with the HDR display. The HDR video support has been currently exclusively made available for Windows 10 users with more platforms to be getting the support in coming weeks.

To enjoy the HDR video, users would need to have an HDR capable screen to enjoy the high quality videos. The latest Chrome update will confirm the number one position currently held by the Chrome browser and will help in increasing its market share.

Google in future updates is expected to bring lots of new improvements to its Chrome browser for Windows 10 which would include VR support helping users to directly watch VR content on the web.

The latest update is currently available for Windows 10 users and as reported above users would need to have a HDR capable screen to enjoy video with the HDR support.

Even if users are not having the HDR capable screen, they are advised to make sure to download the latest update since Google has also pushed out fixes for the recent Meltdown and Spectre attacks for its browser.
