Microsoft is today rolling out a new update to its Android App Launcher (Beta) with new features and improvements. Microsoft Launcher (beta) has been updated to a new version with more customization options and performance improvements.

Yesterday, Microsoft started updating several of its Android apps. While the Edge browser updated with minor fixes, Microsoft Launcher for Android is gaining new features to improve the experience it can offer regardless of the phone’s hardware.

Microsoft is adding a new feature that will inform the meeting attendees when you’ll be late, and the feature is powered by the calendar. Microsoft is also allowing the employees to use Microsoft Launcher for viewing corporate data. The company is adding options for adjusting the icon size in the dock, app drawer and home screen.

You can finally set wallpapers for home and lock screen, the feature is however limited to Android Oreo phones due to the limitations in the older versions of the operating system. The other changes include the ability to add blank pages in vertical mode, recurring reminders, and the update also adds support for shortcuts creation.

Unlike the other Microsoft apps, Launcher is evolving at the fastest pace. The software giant is updating the Launcher almost daily with fixes and improvements. Microsoft Launcher is growing at an incredible pace as the app is heading towards the 50 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
