Telegram today pushed out a new update this time to its Official Windows Phone app. The update pushes the app to new version 2.9.0.0. The update comes with some improvements to media viewing along with support for new MTProto 2.0.
The latest update now includes full support for MTProto 2.0. The new MTProto 2.0 helps user with enhanced messaging security. There is also support added for albums in secret chats.
The telegram team has made sure to improve the media viewing in the latest update by improving the overall media viewing. Telegram team has been regularly updating the Windows Phone application with new and enhanced features to keep it on par with its application on Android and iOS.
These are the same features which have already been added and tested by the Telegram team on its Preview App for Windows users and after successful testing have been pushed out to the Stable version of the application.
The previous telegram update for Windows Phone had been a major one with lots of new features added like Save messages features along with searching of public channels in the search bar.
