WhatsApp team today released a new update for its Beta application for Windows Phone. The team has been regularly updating the app on all platforms with new features. The Windows Phone Beta app has been updated to new version 2.18.2.
The latest update to the Beta App brings new UI to manage Stickers for Windows Phone users. This option is currently disabled by default and is under internal testing by the WhatsApp developers.
In the latest update there is a new tab to allow users to open the Stickers section. The new Stickers tab will be found next to the GIF Tab. After clicking on the Stickers Tab, users will now find two new buttons: “Recent button” and “Starred Button”.
The Recent button lets you find all the “Recent sent stickers” while the Starred button lets users to find the favorite stickers saved under starred for quick sharing with friends and family.
As reported above this feature is still under internal development and should be enabled for beta testing in upcoming updates for Windows Phone users. It is also worth mentioning that the current UI of the Stickers section might get an overhaul when the feature is released to the public soon.
