Last week, Samsung unveiled three new laptops under the Notebook 9 series, and the company has recently published two new videos showing off the Notebook 9 series laptop features.
The new Samsung laptops could serve as alternatives to Microsoft’s Surface models. Samsung Notebook 9 series laptop uses a convertible hinge that allows the users to use the device as either a laptop or a tablet.
Just like the Galaxy and Note series smartphones, the Notebook 9 also supports S Pen (stylus) that offers 4,096 levels of pressure with a 0.7mm tip. Writing and drawing with Samsung’s Stylus feel more natural, and the stylus also boasts support for Air Command. Users can access Air command feature anytime while operating the laptop by simply taking out the S Pen and launch the apps quickly.
The device features a 13.3-inch full HD display with touch support. It is powered by 8th generation Core i7 processor and comes with 512GB internal storage, paired with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM. Samsung has also implemented a fingerprint sensor.
Samsung has also announced the 2018 edition of the Samsung Notebook 9, this model comes in two different configurations; 13.3-inch display and 15-inch display. The other specs include 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage and Intel HD graphics support (only on the 15-inch variant). The Notebook 9′ 2018 edition, however, lacks support for touch and Pen.
Samsung is expected to showcase the new laptops at CES 2018. The pricing and other details of the devices are not available.
