Microsoft launcher previously Arrow launcher is a great launcher by Microsoft with over 10 million downloads on Play Store.Microsoft continues to improve their launcher for Android. Today, Microsoft released an update for the launcher. Both the stable and beta versions are receiving the update. The beta version bumped up to 4.4.0.39132 whereas stable version bumped up to 4.3.1.39080.

The previous beta update 4.4 which was rolled out earlier this month that brought many features. Features included the option to disable or enable the permanent dock below if you don’t like it. Another feature added was the ability to create folders in the app drawer just like on the home screen.

A batch mode for apps on app drawer and home screen i.e the options you get while long pressing an app that support shortcuts to a particular action within the app and many more. The changelog of the latest update remains the same as of the previous version. So probably the update brings some improvements to the performance of the launcher or a fix for any issue reported.

The previous stable build brought new features. Some of them were the ability to let users enable 12×12 grid layout and half grid granularity, drag/drop apps without entering the edit mode, some UI changes, etc.

This new update for stable version doesn’t bring any new features but a hotfix to address some of the top user feedback on the previous version. No other changes were reported.
