Today the WhatsApp team releases a new update for its Beta Application on Windows Phone. The app has been updated to new version 2.17.348.0. The latest update to the Beta App brings back the new “Reply in Private” option for Group Chats. This option is now available again and can be accessed by pressing any chats in the Groups.
The “Reply in Private” feature was released last week to the Beta version of the WhatsApp application but was later removed. This feature is now again enabled with the latest Beta update and is currently only available for Windows Phone users as it has not yet been made available for Android or iOS version of the application.
The Reply in Private feature was disabled by the WhatsApp team in its next update with version 2.17.344. It seems the feature was enabled by mistake by the team and hence was removed after being made available.
WhatsApp team is still working on supporting the Windows platform and enabling some features exclusively for Windows platform before releasing them to iOS and Android.
