GroupMe app for iOS devices has received a new update in the App Store today. The update has bumped the app to new version 5.14.0. The update comes with some improvements made to the management of the groups in the application.

The GroupMe team has made changes to the group management with the Group owner now being able to appoint admins with power and responsibility to help and manage the groups.

The group members will now be having access to the group sharing functionality once the sharing option has been enabled by the group owner or the admin of the group.

You will also now be able to share messages, photos and videos from other apps to your groups. This option was removed with the previous update but has now been added back to the GroupMe app with the latest update.

Apart from the above the update also comes with its normal share of bug fixes and performance improvements to the application for iOS devices. The latest update to the GroupMe app is currently live and you can download it by clicking the below App Store link.
