Couple of months ago Microsoft released a new redesigned UI for its Skype app for both Android and iOS. The company recently made some changes to the UI of the iOS Skype app based on the feedback and suggestions of Skype Insiders.

The iOS Skype App received a new update last week to version 8.13.0 which brought the navigation bar to the bottom of the application giving easy access to Chats, Contacts, Highlights and more.

Today the company is pushing out a new update for its Skype App for Android users bringing in the new Navigation bar to the bottom of the screen similar to the iOS Skype App.

The Skype team is also introducing a new “Super Composer” experience in the latest update for Android users. Tapping on the FAB on the main chat lists, users will be welcomed to a new screen which includes your recent contact list, providing easy access to actions like group, search bots, add contact, invite to Skype and also make a call.

The latest FAB experience and the new navigation bar is available for download in the Skype app’s latest update and you can get it by downloading it from the Google Play Store.

Note: The new Skype update is only available for users who have signed in as Skype Insiders to test the latest features before public release.

Do let us know how do you like the new Skype UI with the Super Composer experience in the comments below.
