Microsoft today is starting the new Party Chat Beta through the Xbox Beta app for Android and iOS users. The Party chat feature was already available for Xbox One users on Android but was not made available to handsets.
Today the company is making the Party Chat Beta available through its Xbox Beta app on Android and iOS devices. The Party Chat Beta gives players the option to freely conduct chats through their mobile handsets and not fully depend on the console.
With the Party Chat Beta now available on mobile, the users are free to roam and maintain proper connection on mobile which was not possible earlier due to it being available only via the Xbox One Console.
The Party Chat Beta is currently available for download in the Google Play Store if you are an Android users interested in testing, but you would need to fill a separate form for iOS to get enrolled in the Beta which is through Apple’s TestFlight Program and limited to maximum of 10,000 testers.
For iOS users, if selected you will be receiving an email from Apple within 48 hours. If you are not receiving any email within 30 days of your first submission then make sure to resubmit the form. This is similar to the Microsoft Edge beta which Microsoft released couple of months ago for iOS users.
