Windows Insiders have been waiting over a week now for new Windows 10 preview builds and today Dona Sarkar, Windows Insider Chief at Microsoft has revealed that no new builds will be coming this week.

Microsoft is now expected to release new Windows 10 builds for PCs and Tablet next week, along with cumulative updates for Windows PCs and Windows Phones. The Windows Insider team at Microsoft was aiming for a Friday release but the build has been delayed once again.

Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar revealed that the company needs more time to test the build internally before releasing it out to the Fast Ring Insiders. “Windows Insiders, we need more internal testing before we can release our current build candidate to you and we are going to spend a LOT of selfhost hours on this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend,” Dona Sarkar, Windows Insider Chief, Microsoft tweeted.

This is not the first delay that Windows Insiders have faced. Microsoft earlier planned to release a new build on Wednesday this week but the company delayed it due to some reasons. If you recall, even last week Microsoft promised to release a new Windows 10 build but it was delayed due to a bug with UWP apps.

Unfortunately for Windows 10 Mobile users, it seems that there are no more builds in sight. Microsoft has however compiled new cumulative updates for Windows 10 Mobile, but for now the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program seems to be dead.
