In a surprise move, the Redmond Giant announced its new Surface Book 2 for Surface Lovers on October 17th, the day it released the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to the general public.
The Surface Book 2 was unveiled by Surface Guru Panos Panay and the device was to be made available for shipping later this year. The Surface Book 2 comes in two models 13.5 inch and 15 inch respectively and features a display with PixelSense technology.
On the 13.5-inch display model, it has a resolution of 3000×2000 with 267 PPI whereas the display is far better on the larger 15-inch model with a resolution of 3240 x 2160 resolution (260 PPI).
The company has not made any changes to the design of the Surface Book 2 and is similar in terms of design to its predecessor Surface Book. The device with a 13-inch display, comes with a dual-core Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of storage.
The 15-inch model of the Surface Book 2 comes with a dual-core Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM along with a 1TB storage variant. The 13.5 inch device comes with a starting price tag of $1,499 and 15 inch model starts with $2,499.
The company had earlier revealed that the Surface Book 2 will be available for pre order starting November 9th for both the models.
